Top Tips

How to prevent your toilet getting blocked:

  1. Only flush the three P’s: pee, poo and paper. Even “flushable” wipes should be kept out the pan
  2. Don’t use too much loo roll in one flush
  3. Make sure children understand the rules as well
  4. Don’t use chemical drain cleaners, they can damage older fixtures or pipes and cause more problems in the future
  5. Put a small bin by the loo so it’s easy for people to get rid of cotton buds, wipes and hair balls without dropping them in the toilet
